Betting Question: in a nine horse race the even money favourite dead heats for first place. What stake would you need to have on that favourite to make a net profit of exactly £100 ( Note I have posed this Q in the past, if you have seen the answer please do not reply )

Sad news that @eurosport is leaving UK screens. Like most, I get it as part of my @SkySports package, and can’t justify paying an extra £30 a month for TNT. Time to completely review my TV package if that’s the way it’s going. There’ll be a lot of disappointed #snooker fans ☹️

@GingerJoeRacing There are varying degrees of colic, that wouldn’t bother me a great deal. If he retains 80% of his ability then he’s odds on for the CH and 7/4 is a good price. That being said; I agree Teahupoo is the better value!

⚪️⚫️People seem obsessed about backing Con Hill at 7/4… We’ve seen him run twice since April ‘last’ year…. Connections have ‘only’ just realised he needed a wind op when he got back on to the gallops recently, and on top of that he has had Colic. I think those that are backing him perhaps don’t understand how serious Colic is and how damaging it can be. The chance that it has had no effect on Cons overall ability is highly unlikely In my opinion. You have to be mad chasing that price for a race in March when you can back a sound Teahupoo at bigger odds.. If Con ruins your Accas, you have nobody to blame except yourself.. Thoughts?….

@mp_horseracing @CheltenhamRaces We’re members, used to go 3 days of the Nov meeting but the cards a bit too stretched v food, drink & travel cost. Fri/Sat easier, back to work Monday. Debated going Sunday but 6 races, 1 of which is a bumper & a 4 runner shloer didn’t inspire us. Racing tv and pizza for us!

Only 11,000 people attended @CheltenhamRaces on Sunday. Why do we think that is? I think the day represents fantastic value for families and although the racing could have been better, it wasn’t as if it was a bad card . . .

@mp_horseracing @CheltenhamRaces I rarely miss a meeting but thought the Sunday card was really poor this year and with rain forecast all day I decided not to go. Cheltenham racecourse not allowing my 16yr old daughter into the members stand with me on Saturday may have influenced my decision somewhat too!
