@mreflow We're on a slope, but it's foggy so we have no idea how tall the mountain is, it might just be a small hill, or it could be Everest,and we're not even at basecamp yet. I can conceptualize/rationalize what the next 6 months might look like, but it's beyond that which scares me.

I was hanging out with friends who know little about AI other than what they see on TV. I use it for art and silly YouTube videos. My friends, however, are absolutely terrified of where this is all headed. Do you believe the world is better off or scarier 5-years from now?

@GirlGoblin1 Totally concur with this one,👍 very speedy, always inform my buddies when Snail fight is up. Worth bringing along quite a few pets to level to boost their value from it too.

@GirlGoblin1 I'd say an average of 4-5 hrs a day over the course of the expac, definitely my main pass-time.

So here's a chart of my goldmaking during SL. . Cos', I like data/fancy charts. I had planned to do a full writeup of lessons learnt, overall experience, and mistakes during SL, but I don't have the time before DF. So here it is before it's irrelevant....

Estimated profits by type: 20% - Pet Arbitrage 25% - BOE Flipping 30% - Legos - 1 realm for patch 9.1, not around for patch 9.1.5, 3 realms for patch 9.2 20% - General Flipping - mats/tmog, anything that isn't nailed down basically 5% - General play - tables/calling etc

The gold is currently spread over a total of 57 different realms, of which I do pets on 33, actively flip on 48, with around 9 being pretty much dormant for now.

Some preliminary analysis of the new "Awakened Essences" in Dragonflight, you may want to stock up in the early days depending on your profession.

Dragonflight professions have BoP Profession Tools and Accessories in addition to Armor and Weapons. If you are crafting stuff for testing the tools help a lot with getting 5 stars without maxing out. Here's how you get them (they still work even if you swap off):

@manthieus I have skill at A, materials at B, recipe at C, should I expect an A result? 10% of the time? 20% of the time? It's all opaque from what I can see so far. Regular joe will have no idea what results he'll get from what I've seen.

This new work order system is going in some interesting directions but Blizz is falling into the usual trap of systems upon systems, it's exciting, but it should also be intuitive and engaging, and from what i've seen so far, it's far from that.

@kaychakeu I wouldn't necessarily say abusable, but for me the sky isn't falling like it is for others. Change is always opportunity. For those at that are gifted at predicting future market demand though - this change could be huge.

The partial region wide auction house is going to be mega abusable by those with the most gold. You heard it here first!

This is my simplistic model of how i see the changes affecting "commodity" prices:

Major AH changes afoot. It'll be bad for my way of making gold, but I'm excited. I think it's good for the game as a whole, and change means opportunity. The goblin game gets a major reset, so it's not quite adapt or die, it's still important to adapt, and that's exciting to me.
