Then y’all go “don’t play if you’re hurt” The moment Darryn doesn’t play it’s “he doesn’t care about the game” or “his work ethic isn’t good enough” etc. You get the idea. It’s hard to compare the 2.

@krystenpeek I hear you there but feels like the situation comp ignores the big elephant in the room of character concerns. Kyrie didn’t have the drama and his injury wasn’t on/off. Also didn’t have the No. 1 pick competition. But yes, he’ll be fine long term

Kyrie Irving had a severe toe injury & STILL did everything he could to even play in the tournament when he didn’t have to. Not the same situation here at all lol
