I’m staggered that Burnham has promised to end rough sleeping across the country. It was his biggest promise when he became mayor of Greater Manchester and he didn’t come close. Here are the numbers, as revealed by @ManchesterMill last month.

Wow. Some people on here are becoming slightly obsessed with what people spend their benefits on. Shouldn't be going on holiday, absolutely no new phone or TV - no nice things at all, period. A joyless existence on bread & water seems to be the most benefit claimants deserve
