After many meetings with the collective and trusted community members, we have decided to update our masking policy. At our main shop, masking is encouraged for the public, while volunteers and staff are required to mask. At Recirculation, masking is encouraged for everyone.

We’re still going through the mountain of donations we have. We’ll let you know when we’re able to accept donations again. Please do not leave donations outside our shops when we’re closed.

Used books are added to the shelves weekly!

Updated events this week! Clothing Repair Circle is cancelled this month and Saturday’s event with Leah Kim is moved to June 3rd.

Drag story time last Saturday was a blast! We learned about José Sarria, the first openly gay candidate to run for public office in the US. Thank @flamehairnyc for bringing this story to life and Drag Artists for Expression NYC for supporting this program & the paper crowns.
