I have the phone numbers for four people who are dead still saved in my phone. Three of them were people I served with. Two of them died from suicide, one in a freak accident. This Memorial Day, please remember that not everyone who makes it home actually survives.

I made some kind of shitty choices back in September/October of last year that made me really reflect on the kind of person I want to be. I realized that all the hurt, anger, and resentment I've held onto for so long was not only not serving me but making me a worse person. /1
