Things Nobody Tells You About Skin Bleaching 👇🏾 1. It’s not a one-time thing: Once you start, stopping can cause your skin to darken unevenly or return darker than before. 2. Some products contain harmful ingredients: Many creams (especially unregulated ones) may include steroids, mercury, or hydroquinone in unsafe amounts. 3. Your skin can become thinner over time: Long-term use can make your skin more fragile, sensitive, and prone to damage. 4. You may become dependent on it: Your skin can get used to the products, making it hard to stop without noticeable changes. 5. It doesn’t fix deeper issues: If the reason is pressure, beauty standards, or insecurity, bleaching won’t solve that long-term. 6. Results are often uneven** Patches, discoloration, or “two-tone” skin is more common than people admit. 7. Sun exposure becomes riskier: Bleached skin is more sensitive to sunlight, increasing chances of burns and damage. 8. Not all “natural” products are safe: Just because it says herbal or organic doesn’t mean it can’t harm your skin. 9. The conversation is deeper than skin: Bleaching is often tied to societal beauty standards, colorism, and identity. 💬 Let’s talk: Why do people go this far just to look this way?

@Keneschart I think nature is responsible for that. They have the largest brain among invertebrates, and their brain is pretty complex too. I watch their documentaries a lot on YouTube and I've seen them solve puzzles, open lids etc. I wish I could have one as a pet.

It is unfortunate to be filled with worries to the brim and remain unheard for so long. When something accumulates excessively within you, you begin to mistake its presence for normalcy.
