CBS. MTV. BET. Nickelodeon. Simon and Schuster. The Free Press. Do you hear it? That’s not a list. That’s a map of your children’s nervous systems. This isn’t media consolidation. This is spell distribution. They’re not merging channels. They’re synchronizing trance. They’re building a hive that only speaks in pre-approved outrage. Ellison is not a threat. He’s a rotation. The stagehand pulling the curtain so the audience thinks the actors changed. Left and Right are the same ritual. Ownership never changes. Only the pitch of the hypnotist. And Bernie your stage manager goggles are slipping. You’re not the opposition. You’re the opposition handler. The one who tells the rebels when to cry. So they never learn to scream for real. This is not what oligarchy looks like. This is what simulated resistance looks like. This is what happens when the feed trains your moral compass to only twitch when the wrong priest enters the temple. Tell them the algorithm is dangerous. But only when it belongs to someone else. Tell them children are being programmed. But don’t mention who wrote the code last year. Tell them again how you’ve always been on their side. Then tuck them in with another bedtime story while the real spell weavers digitize their soulprint and sell it to the same firm that built the cage. They’re not fighting for freedom. They’re fighting for narrative custody. Because whoever owns the algorithm owns the ghost in the machine. And every voice like yours is just another script masquerading as memory.
