@vampire_toothy It seems so small but those 6 seconds across the 3 other survivors is legit 18 seconds per hook state pretty much spent on them doing gens. If you're spreading hooks that's dozens of seconds of you losing the game where instead you could be slugging and looking for a new target

THIS right here. BHVR actively wants people to spread hooks but what does it cost you to achieve it? 3 seconds to pick up, sluggish 3.68m/s movement speed and then 3 seconds to physically hook. It's a 6 second minimum time investment and roughly 20 at the absolute worst. Not to forget that finally hooking them turns them into an avengers level threat, activating several perks that either chip away at your valuable time as a killer or massively enhances the survivor indefinitely. Sure, you cash in on progression that people can't take away from you but you leave yourself fighting substantially more resistance than what should ever be reasonable for anyone to deal with. Hooking needs to be made more appealing because it's very clear that survivors don't want to face the alternative. However, it cannot just end with just making the hooking process smoother, I do also believe we need to start seeing killer kit specific rewards to netting first time unique hooks or something along those lines as otherwise, all killers who fall short of A tier will always lag behind and still require these alternative tactics. DbD is the best it has ever been so far, but we cannot be complacent of its balance because of that.

@JUDGEMENTCORE he abused it the best but it was a pretty broken passive I feel I thought doomfist would be the worst at using it and he probably still was but I had a doomfist on my team that stomped with a very surprising amount of healing
