It’s not a bad idea at all, and I do think Darby will get a run with the AEW World Title eventually. But if the current narrative is that MJF is the company’s top heel and Ospreay is the top babyface, doesn’t that feel like the natural marquee matchup for Wembley?

Neither CM Punk nor Roman Reigns really got going last night. Roman was all over the place and somehow landed on “HA! You’re old,” which felt like Suffering Succotash level bad, and Punk struggled to find any rhythm, with his insults never getting the reaction he wanted.

Apologies for the quality, but this moment right here immediately took me out of it. WWE won’t post this clip either because Roman looked like a rookie out there. Punk flat out called him his young boy and Roman still went back in the ring, like a good boy.. I don’t know how a single person who watched tonight’s show could take Roman seriously after this.

Credit to Brock, when he sells, it’s subtle but effective. Him clutching Oba’s boot made it feel like Oba could retire him. This match needs to be a car crash with both looking strong. Oba can’t lose yet, he has to stay unstoppable.

Hangman will be AEW’s biggest heel by 2027. He’ll snap on Ospreay, who’s being built like a superhero babyface. They keep stressing Hangman’s morals and that he’s a man of his word so the story will be him breaking and turning when fans love Ospreay more than him.
