I've received so many DMs and emails from Danaher employees who were contacted by HR and told to keep quiet after expressing public solidarity with those who desperately need GeneXpert tests.
Really lamentable that employee concerns are being silenced instead of being heard.

These people are going to be real surprised that a lot of us have firearms and even more surprised that someone like me doesn’t look like what they think the other side looks like. Which means one thing Gunther, I can get real close to you before you realize I’m a problem.

I was a pastor for 40 years; when people died because they didn’t have health care, I had to bury them. I could not stand up in that pulpit and say that God called them home and it was a natural death. Refusing to pay people a living wage is policy murder. (1/3)

@DameDeconstruct @RevSarahLocke Not necessarily— lots of older churches have endowments from bequeaths left by members after death. Those go into an investment fund (usually) and a 3 or 4% draw can definitely help a small/not rich church support a pastor at a moderate (NOT $100k!) salary.
