@realcarissas I'm sorry - but what? When I was in school they did a sponsored fast (shocking) but almost 20 years ago, I assumed that this kinda shit would have been recognised for being damaging and wrong on so many levels. Love what your daughter wrote at the top ❤️👏

@nigelbagshaw Thanks for reminding me why I avoid Twitter, majority of comments are making sad. Firstly, that there are so many people who want to drive to a High street (a place that should be all about walking/wheeling safely) and secondly that noone can give evidence for their views.

@LiorSteinberg I often think 'why do I live in a city? I want out'.....but you're absolutely right, so much of it is down to being upset or angry with the noise/pollution from cars and idiot/aggressive drivers

I hear often people wanting to leave the city because it's not green enough. Or because it's too noisy and dirty. But the solution isn't leaving the city. The solution is getting rid of the cause of the problem: too much space is given to cars. Look, it's possible!
