Thought it was time for a #NewProfilePic , taken in the 309. It's Finally home and settled after two long years fighting to keep it in one piece and negotiating a new home.

just realised how rare it actually is for someone my age to have ridden on a double decker tram (if you haven't been to hong kong) so thats actually a cool thing i've done

@exit_everything Newmarket? My uncle lives there and yes I agree how depressing it is. I rarely go in and hated some of the clientele that frequented that station when I worked trains on that line.

I don't really go outside anymore. It makes me sad but I just don't live somewhere with anything to go outside for, and going shopping is a car trip.

Or normal. Central stations are gateways to a city, and OSD above a station makes them horrible, cramped and dingy, and makes maintenance and upgrade work difficult to impossible. catch a train from Birmingham New Street and tell me OSD is good.

Here we go! After a few years trying to get my foot in the door, I'm on my first day of my new job, taking part in the next GA trainee conductor intake. I'm happy to finally be joining the railway family! Here's to hopefully a long career and working with many amazing people.

Well, I’ve always said my conductor colleagues earn every penny of their money…and tonight proves it. Absolute shitshow on the Cambridge. A fight, possible assault, and paramedics needed. Speaking to another driver he said his train was crap, too. Something in the air…

Well finally, after years of applications I can say that I'm joining the #railwayfamily . I've secured a role at Greater Anglia as a Trainee Conductor, Starting in 6 weeks time! Thanks to all those that have supported me getting to this stage.

@trainlifegb @realPeterSpokes Yes I've donated to Peter's work several times. I'm also leading the restoration of a different slamdoor unit so I know a lot of what goes into these restorations. I'm sure he can see the paint isn't the best but money, time and manpower for these projects is not easy to come by.

@NjFunky @gdmkimages produces custom printed wallets and a lot of other railway themed items. They also do trade accounts for a lot of railway preservation groups. I've used his stuff for a few years and it's great Quality

I think it would be a cool idea to make custom printed ticket wallets, but I wouldn’t want it to be a low quality flimsy wallet, something made of faux leather would be good Does anyone know any printing companies that could do this or have any ideas if I wanted to make myself?

@Lexi_CHarding I get it, I've been through the exact same thing. People nice to my face but slag me off behind my back. Vile nasty shit spread behind closed doors. Learnt theres nothing I can do about it So now mostly just keep to myself and focus on my preservation group.

I just feel this needs to be said, because I've been kicked out of groups, I've been spoken about behind my back, and it's not on. I'm an Adult, I'll talk to whoever the fuck I wanna. If you have an issue with who I'm friends with, tell me to my face, not behind my back or on NGL
