😨Man Allegedly Failed to Pay $600 For Time They Spent Together in Hotel, Ends up Kidnaped and Robbed😨 Courtney Jefferson, 43, and her brother, William Woods, 47, made their first court appearances before a Memphis judge following their arrests for kidnapping, beating, and robbing a man near the Memphis International Airport. A man allegedly failed to pay $600 to Jefferson at a hotel off Lamar Avenue. Jefferson took the victim to a car dealership and pawn shop to secure the cash, but when those attempts failed, they returned to the hotel where Woods was waiting. Woods forced the victim into a vehicle, making violent threats while driving around. The victim was taken to Woods’ residence, where he was punched and threatened by Jefferson, Woods, and an unidentified third suspect who stole his car. He escaped by convincing them to drive to his mother's house under the pretense of handing over his car title, leading her to call the police. 🚔
