@LisKiwi @MakeMathMoments I signed up for this months ago. It's an awesome PD event every year and I always try to catch as many sessions as possible.

Turned up at #PPTAEdConf2023 on a whim, and really enjoying it so far! digital divide is real, sow the seeds, keep learning and growing... and move to Aus for an instant pay jump and lower cost of living (not sure I was supposed to take on that last one) #teacherlife #holidayPLD

@CarolynAGreen I think all meetings could be improved with chips.

Sometimes you just have to take the science leaders meeting to somewhere with chips.

@MakeMathMoments This looks really cool. I might try it as an end of year this year with a class and see what inspiration I get before using it again at the start next year (and so I don't forget it before next year).

@davidporas @MathigonOrg @drnickimath This is cool! So glad I caught your talk at #mmmsummit2021. I have the same issue of students not wanting to use physical manipulatives in class because it's "too childish" while I (teacher) count on my fingers a lot. Maybe this will work for them.

@ficycleedu just listened to your presentation for #mmmsummit2021 and your curriculum sounds really useful. Unfortunately, I'm from New Zealand so won't be able to use any of it in my own financial capability course besides the main ideas.

Every time I see PD from @MakeMathMoments like #mmmsummit2021, I end up with pages and pages of notes and a list of books and resources I want to buy/read. Maybe I can sneak something onto my Christmas wish-list. For now, back to watching replays as fast as I can before they go.

Busy watching replays of the @MakeMathMoments conference. @NatBanting biggest takeaway: "as long as you make a move to keep thinking moving, it's a good one"... Always find myself overthinking things.

@nrichmaths I want to sign up but it's at a really bad time... Will there be a replay/recording? I'm secondary.

Secondary students can develop their fluency working with graphs of quadratics with our Live Problem Quadratic Matching, then they can share the reasoning behind their answers with our team - we'll publish a selection of their solutions on NRICH nrich.maths.org/11141

@MyStudySeries This looks interesting for sure. Something I've thought about a lot but not sure I've ever really got it right.
