Cristiano Ronaldo and the Power of the Word:
How He Talks to Himself to Remain the Best
I’ve always said it, I’ve always thought it, and I’ve lived it: **words have power**.
There is no such thing as an innocent thought.
The other day I saw a video clip of Cristiano Ronaldo during a match. The camera focused directly on his face, and someone read his lips as he was talking to himself. He was saying powerful phrases while playing. That moment hit me hard — it was the ultimate confirmation of something I already knew: the immense power of self-talk.
At 41 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo is still competing at the highest level. It’s not just physical. It’s deeply mental. And one of his most powerful weapons is something almost invisible: **the conscious use of language**.
Phrases like “I am the best”, “I am a machine”, or “I don’t follow, I lead” are not arrogance. They are deliberate acts of mental programming. Ronaldo doesn’t wait to feel confident to speak like a champion — he speaks like a champion **to become** one.
This is real. It can even be considered a form of self-hypnosis. Top athletes all over the world use it. It’s not a fairy tale.
From a psychological perspective, the word doesn’t just describe reality — it creates it. When you repeat something with conviction, you literally shape your internal identity. Ronaldo has been doing this with discipline for over 20 years.
His inner dialogue is not soft or gentle. It is demanding, direct, and extremely assertive. He doesn’t say “I’ll try to do it well.” He says “I am the best.”
The uncomfortable truth is this:
Most people speak to themselves with doubt, excuses, and limitations 24/7… and then they wonder why their life looks the way it does. When you point this out to them, they often look at you like you’re crazy or simply dismiss it.
But the elite? They speak to themselves with authority and clear vision.
The greatest rival of a champion is not on the opposite side of the field.
It is the voice inside his own head.
And long ago, Cristiano Ronaldo decided that that voice would always speak in his favor.

@hispanicnomad @bluewmist Can you recommend a video or a theraphist that I could watch?

@bluewmist The best solution to this is EMDR therapy
It’s f*cking brutal but it can help you clean up your psyche like nothing else

Today I learned a term called
"Parentification Debt": When a child is forced to emotionally parent their own parent, they develop advanced skills in reading others but fall behind in understanding themselves. The debt comes due in adulthood when they realize they can manage everyone's feelings except their own.

@Thebitcoinbarb1 I know...I know.
Sure AI, would help me a lot. But the 'human connection" approach that I wanted to try on TIKTOK, is a no-no for a moment. Until I figure how to do the ai influencer.

@WritingLuisa OooooFFFFF that's a hard one.
But easy with the help of AI.
IF OBESE CLIENT says no
Ask her what is the image she wants people to perceive from her
Ask her how she can personally demonstrate that to drive home results based content

For all the DIGITAL MARKETER EXPERTS...
I’m taking a digital marketing course right now and I’m hitting a wall with this whole “inclusive marketing” concept.
You know, that bullshit where they tell you that you can’t just show one type of person — everything has to be mixed, diverse, and “everyone must feel represented.” It sounds nice in theory… until you have to apply it in real life.
I’m creating content for two extremely talented naturopaths who work at the same health center. Both are professional, knowledgeable, and everything you’d want in a practitioner.
One is an incredible 85-year-old woman with 50 years of experience, a sharp mind, and the living image of health. The problem? She has zero interest in technology or creating content.
The other is super charismatic, talkative, and would connect amazingly with people on TikTok… but she has morbid obesity (easily 100 kg / 220 lbs overweight).
Here’s my dilemma: as a therapist, she’s excellent. But in the health niche, people expect the person guiding them to look healthy. It’s like seeing your cardiologist smoking a cigarette while telling you to quit.
So… where does “inclusive marketing” fit into this situation?
Do I show her exactly as she is (because “we must include everyone”) even though I know many potential clients will think, “If she can’t manage her own health, how is she going to help me with mine?”
Or do I hide her and only feature the 85-year-old who “sells better,” even though she has no interest in being on camera and comes across as a sweet grandma?
I’m genuinely stuck.
I want to build trust and sell online bioresonance sessions. I don’t want to discriminate, but I also don’t want the content to flop at 50 views because of appearance-based judgment, or worse — attract discriminatory or rage-bait hate comments.
**Real question for those in digital marketing:**
How would you actually apply “inclusive marketing” in this case?
What would you do? I really want to read honest opinions 🔥
