Last year, a tech company contacted me to consult for the HR tech products they were trying to build. During the first meeting, the CEO joined 15 minutes late and didn’t apologize. Nothing like “Oh sorry guys I joined late” I called his attention to it, and he responded, “So?” Is this how you treat people? The EA was in my DM begging me to overlook it saying the CEO is very rude. Mehnnn, the way this man spoke to the engineers on the call was so condescending. I quietly told them I wasn’t interested and walked away.
