What Grok and Gemini fail to account for is both (a) Bitcoin power law and (b) it’s highly convex nature, fat right tail. From what I can see they both assumed symmetric volatility. A deeper analysis that I undertook, in extended conversations with both Claude and ChatGPT and building on my prior work distinguishing core volatility and bubble volatility produces very different results between a symmetric vol model and an asymmetric vol model. Both are presented in this article. With asymmetric vol a double digit STRC yield can be supported to 2040 and perhaps beyond. open.substack.com/pub/stephenper… @phongle This is not an argument about what the rate should be today but about the viability of STRC high yield issuance over the next decade plus.
