In a solemn remembrance, a Candlelight Vigil was held at Ukhrul for our two brothers (L) Chinaoshang Shokwungnao of Tashar Village and (L) Yaruingam Vashum of Kharasom Village who were shot to death at an ambush carried out by the Kuki Militants on 18 April 2026 at TM Kasom. As candles and Zārmei flickered in the silence, hearts united in grief, resilience, and the unwavering call for justice. This vigil is not just an act of mourning but it is a symbol of hope, of light standing firm against darkness, and of a community that refuses to be broken. Extremely tense situation at T Khullen village in Senapati District after Kukis of Chougoubung tried to disturb the three days total shutdown called by the UNC.
