Personally, I think that no artiste should be compared to another.. Every artiste is unique and different.. If Fela was born today, he’d most likely be influenced by the music of today.. What stood him out was not just his music, but also his personality and the fact that he spoke out against the government.. There will never be another Fela.. As a matter of fact, no musician can ever be replicated.. We’re like finger prints.. Seemingly the same, but very different.. Each person will leave his imprint and go..
