Elon Musk's first wife once described what it's like to watch him fail. She said he doesn't react the way normal people react. When a rocket explodes, most people in the room go silent. Some cry. Some start calculating the financial damage. Musk pulls out his phone and starts making calls. Not emotional calls. Engineering calls. "What failed. When can we fix it. When's the next launch." His voice doesn't change. His face doesn't change. The rocket that just cost $60 million is already in the past. The next one is all that exists. She said it was the most unsettling thing she'd ever witnessed. Not because he was cold. Because he genuinely wasn't affected. The failure didn't register as failure. It registered as data. An experiment that produced results. Results that inform the next experiment. This is why he wins. Not because he doesn't fail. He fails more spectacularly than anyone in history. He wins because failure occupies zero psychological space. It enters as data and exits as action. Most people lose not because they fail but because they spend weeks processing the failure before acting again. Musk spends zero seconds. The gap between failure and next attempt is a phone call.

At Heathrow airport check-in I was asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?" I answered, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?"🤔

This Kenyan man came so close to defeating Coca-Cola in market share. Unfortunately, his own government couldn’t protect him or help him build a true Kenyan brand. Peter Kuguru started Softa Soda in 1997. He believed that Kenya deserved its own drink at a price that ordinary people could afford, and it worked. By 2004, Softa had taken 10% of the entire carbonated drinks market in Kenya. By 2007, they controlled 70 to 80% of the market within 200 km of Nairobi. So what happened?Kenya’s soda industry depends on recycling bottles, but Coca-Cola had the biggest collection network in the country. When Softa bottles ended up in Coca-Cola’s sorting yards — which happened most of the time — they simply disappeared. And here is where the government comes in. All that was needed was a simple regulation requiring companies to return competitors’ bottles within a set time frame. This kind of rule exists in other markets, but the Kenyan government classified it as a private commercial dispute and stayed out of it. Why? Because this was the liberalisation era, and Kenya was under pressure from international lenders to open its market and let competition run its natural course. Getting involved would have looked like a protection scheme. On top of that, Coca-Cola was one of the largest taxpayers in the country, and governments tend to protect revenue sources. In the end, a promising Kenyan brand was lost.

I have tweeted this countless times, but at the risk of sounding repetitive, I’ll say it again: if you’re into online scams, especially targeting Americans, your arrest is a matter of when, not if. If you haven’t been caught yet, it’s not because you’re smarter than everyone else. Na just your turn never reach.

The only problem that truly hit Denis Oliech was a failure by him and those associated with him to manage his money! Financial Literacy issues no other complicated word! Who was his adviser & manager? When you attain a certain level in earning, it's never a money losing venture to engage those who can craft a plan into the future. The best big word I might use to justify Oliech’s predicaments maybe Black Tax. It's one of the things that brings many men down. But at his prime, our boy was eating & hearing good namna hatari. At some point, Lilian Muli is said to be among those who chewed his money mercilessly. I understand that he had to take care of his sick mother, but that's not necessarily the reason why our boy went broke. You see these daughters of Agrippina, they're merciless when it comes to finishing great men. Chesaa!!! He has started consuming Kanamba speciioo. May Yehova Wanyonyi remember our boy during this difiikalt times.🥹
