Win on the road against woodhall. After a scrappy 1st half with a couple of missed chances we managed to play some great football back to front for leading scorer Curt Rev to make it 1-0 before the break. 2nd half was much better from Wybo with Bailey H dominating and making things happen. Before long the goals came again from Curt Rev and a penalty from Taylor Red, before Adam V secured a 4-0 win with a towering header from a corner! Tough game in windy conditions against a well organised Billinghay reserve team. Although we had the majority of the ball and chances we couldn’t seem to score! An error at the back meant we were chasing the game mostly. 2 substitutions both made a massive impact in the game… Kelton Robinson equalised for wybo and Bailey Hutchinsons long range effort won the game. LS plastering MoM was shared between Oscar Broom and Curtis Revell for his second half masterclass. We go to the next round …. Away at Toft res…. Riley Stevens opened the scoring using his pace getting in behind and slotting home. Robin Payling then saw the keeper off his line and scored with a 35 yard worldy for 2-0! Questionable decisions saw us 3-2 down before Stevens again converting from the edge of the box to even the scores! A missed penalty at the death from us, meant we shared the points. LS plastering MoM shared between Riley Stevens for his all round performance and Lewis Peace who had a commanding game.
