While broader hiring volumes may fluctuate, strategic hiring tends to persist. Surveys and market commentary indicates that organisations continue to prioritise roles directly linked to revenue generation, operational efficiency and transformation, even in more cautious economic environments. This distinction is important. XCE’s operating company Spencer Riley does not operate as a volume-based recruiter. Our focus is senior executives whose decisions materially affect profitability, international expansion and organisational performance. That positioning provides resilience. High-value mandates generate recurring client relationships and attractive fee structures. Those characteristics underpin the scalability of our recruitment platform. Recruitment is the engine of #XCE. The flywheel begins with consultant performance and client outcomes.
