So excited to see the GSK announced. Their kit definitely looks to be one designed around competing with current obj menaces like phantoms. 3 charges of barbed wire for assistance in controlling large zones of space, likely hindering your movement significantly. And finally.... were gonna get an ADS????? Season 1 is going to be a completely different game.

Common XDefiant W. 💯🔥 Mark Rubin confirms there will be NO incoming movement nerfs aside from the ads sway movement penalty, which has been a feature for a long time. It was just bugged Movement has been a staple of XDefiant from the very beginning. Imo its ultimately still what truly makes the title unique. The feel of the midair movement is simply not something I can find in another game

imo a players understanding of ability interactions can be quickly determined by their opinion on mag barrier. Maybe its just because I come from a shield game, but I find its approach both easy to understand and pretty balanced. 1. The active duration of the shield is a whopping 9 seconds. Probably one of the easiest abilities to disengage from and just wait out. 2. The geometry of the shield isn't very advantageous for the phantom player, only really covering a plane in front of them, leaving them quite vulnerable to flanks on more aggressive shields (ones that may be harder to disengage from) 3. EMP's, if you really cant wait 9 seconds, just disengage and emp the shield 4. Hijack, a quick and easy way to not only negate an enemy shield, but actually turn the phantoms players eagerness into a hinderance for their team. 5. Technically, everyone has smaller weaker shields around them all the time, in corners. Abusing corners vs shields allows quick jiggle peeking to put in small bursts of damage, without giving the enemy a large timeframe to fire back at you The shield has numerous answers, all of which are viable imo. The only one that isnt, is flying straight at it with absolutely 0 respect 😂😂
