Trading will test you harder than anything else. You’ll doubt yourself. You’ll take losses. You’ll feel like quitting. But one day it clicks. One day the discipline sticks. One day the consistency shows up. And that’s the day everything changes. Don’t quit before that day.

Behind every green portfolio is a trader who got destroyed in silence. They didn’t quit on the worst red streak. They studied, adjusted, and came back stronger. Pain is temporary. Quitting is permanent. The market eventually rewards those who refuse to leave the chart.

Most people quit trading right before it clicks. They were one breakthrough away. Be the one who doesn’t quit.

Thank you, Nashville! I got humbled this weekend in the best way possible. My first marathon is officially in the books, and I’m still trying to process everything it taught me. Through about 17 miles, I felt incredible. I was on pace for sub-3, cruising around 6:36 pace, and honestly felt like all five months of training were lining up perfectly. I felt smooth, confident, and my body wasn't caving in. Then the marathon reminded me real quick that you don’t truly meet the race until the later miles. Around mile 20, both of my legs and calves started shutting down and cramping hard. From that point on, the race became a full mental battle. Every step felt like I was one wrong move away from locking up completely. Those last five miles were the hardest miles I’ve ever experienced, and the worst pain imaginable. I wasn’t thinking about pace anymore or thinking about my pre-race goals. I was just trying to keep moving forward without my legs fully giving out. It became this constant negotiation in my head... stay calm, keep breathing, shorten the stride, don’t panic, just make it to the next mile marker. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get emotional out there, because after five months of training, there was a moment when I felt like it was all slipping away. The time goal was gone, the legs were shot, and I had to decide what kind of person I was going to be in that moment. That’s what I’ll remember most about this race! Not the split times or the pace. But choosing not to quit when everything about my flesh in me wanted relief!! I was practically hopping across the finish line, completely emptied out, and even ended up in the ER tent afterward. Looking back now, I can laugh at it. In the moment, it was brutal, but I’m honestly thankful for every second of it. It all gave me perspective, and I'm thankful I get to do hard things. I get to test myself, and I get to learn where I’m weak and where I’m strong. This race lit a fire in me more than anything. I learned so much about fueling, preparation, pacing, and pain tolerance. I know exactly what I need to improve for the next one, and that excites me. I’m nowhere near done with this sport. If anything, this weekend made me love it even more!! 26.2! iain 🩵

This weekend will be one of the hardest ways I’ve ever chosen to push myself. I’m running my first marathon. Five months of preparation leading into roughly three hours of pain, discipline, and seeing what I’m really made of. I can’t help but think about what the suffering will do to me mentally and physically, but more than anything, I’m filled with gratitude that I have two working legs, breath in my lungs, and the ability to even attempt something like this. Many people don’t get that opportunity! I’m ready to suffer well, do this for something bigger than myself, and I can’t wait to share what I learn on the other side! Cya after 26.2. - iain

$IBIT has already been working nicely since I tried a piece on Wednesday. Currently pushing out of the base exactly how tight setups are supposed to. This is a good reminder to stop overcomplicating entries. - find compression/tight spots on the chart - know your invalidation level before you enter - size appropriately - then let the trade breathe Most people lose because they overtrade and micromanage every tick. Simple works for a reason... so identify strength, enter where risk is clear, and sit tight. $BTC $ETH $COIN $MSTR $IBIT

$SPY is making new ATHs today while $BTC is quietly getting extremely tight on the lower timeframes. Crypto has been coiling here, and if $BTC can push through that ~75k area with momentum, I like $IBIT as a vehicle to express that idea. This is still a speculative setup given current conditions, but tight price action like this tends to lead to expansion. So it’s a spot on my radar if momentum decides to follow through.
