in order to become a better person, you must first realize how horrible you really are. not in the dramatic sense, but in the quiet ways you sabotage yourself, repeat unhealthy patterns, hurt people who care about you, or tolerate what wounds you. you cannot grow if you keep pretending you're innocent in the story you created.

1. Inflating your lifestyle immediately you hit a big financial milestone. This is the easiest way to turn into an old taker. 2. Revealing your exact salary to your parents. Black tax comes with entitlement. There is information about you no one should know. Your exact salary is one of those. 3. Lacking the ability to say no to people. Turn down some invites, billing, or anything that will hurt your pocket, especially if you didn’t budget for it. 4. Eating out every time. You do not realize how much money you spend on buying food outside until you start cooking most of your meals. 5. Womanizing. This is top three easiest ways to go back to zero. The ROI is not worth it, and when you eventually go broke, the girls will leave you. 6. Addiction. There are people who spend nothing less than 50k daily on drugs, alcohol, or weed. It is an addiction, so they struggle with it. It gets bad that they run into debt to keep up. In a week, they waste as much as 150–400k. Of course, you’ll go broke. 7. Following trends. Always buying things you don’t need just because everyone is buying it. If you don’t need it, don’t buy it. Resist the urge to FOMO. 8. Gambling. Sorry to break this to you, gambling will not take you out of the trenches. If anything, it will send you to rock bottom. Before you win 3 million, you’d have lost 5m. You can’t win. 9. Proving to an audience that doesn’t care that you are not broke. Nobody cares like that. 10. Dating.

That shift changed my mindset. - I stopped rushing the process. Patience didn’t just improve my trading, it improved my life. I built a routine that fits me, and I stuck to it.
