So I just found out tonight there are still small brained MFer’s out here that think I am a scammer. Well, I just built an ENTIRE wallet forensics tool that shows every wallet up and down the chain, every token, every buy, every sell and total PNL. And it’s free for all to use. My PNL is embarrassing to say the least but what was built from it is not. Now I don’t have to defend myself at all so I’ll kindly say stop being jealous little bitches and cough up them receipts.

I’m a heavy builder on XRPL, and I’m going to be completely straight here. There is a serious lack of education in the $XRP community compared to other blockchains. We failed at this. We have a massive amount of hype influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers, and a lot of people are confusing popularity with knowledge. There are two types of these influencers. The first type has the massive following. They’re getting paid on 𝕏, and your engagement keeps feeding their bank accounts. Truth doesn’t have to matter to them because they get paid either way. The second type has no clue what they’re talking about. They’re just following the viral accounts, repeating the same noise, and acting like recycled predictions are education. That’s why so many $XRP holders still don’t understand custody, trustlines, Xaman, the DEX, AMMs, issued assets, destination tags, reserves, swaps, NFTs, stablecoins, or how the ledger actually works. This is unacceptable. $XRP has one of the strongest ledgers in crypto, and too many holders still only know how to stare at price and repeat influencer talking points. The community needs fewer fake prophets and more builders, educators, tools, and real usage.

Agree with most of your points really, It's hard for new communities to make a mark, because as you say, the OG crowd just look after themselves. I built xrplpulse.com for everyone to be involved, no matter what community you come from, old or new, yet we still don't get shouted about enough. We stopped doing our spotlight videos for people, this was free to anyone who wanted it making, only 2 people responded, from all the projects we have listed on our site. We list projects for free... yet still no one shouts about it. Should we start charging for projects to get listed? Is that what it is, people don't think we are real? I don't get it.

There’s an issue within XRP culture. All thoughts are my own, but I’d love to have a discussion or engagement on what you’re about to read 👇 Let me preface - I’m not generalizing EVERYONE, do not take this personal. It just is what it is. The issue I find here is; 1. Communication 2. Support from ripple or the foundation 3. To “strict” for communities to really thrive 4. Silos and bottlenecking 5. Lack of high cultural impact 6. Staying stagnant 7. No true decentralization at scale. I’ll do my best to break all these down, granted this is more of a rant than anything else. As I move about the space I hear the constant issue of “not enough support from @Ripple” this lies in terms of comparison. Looking at @solana and how they showed love to their community and active builders, supporting them and propping them up - there is a STARK difference. This may come from @Ripple previously investing in the eco to only have projects fail and about 2 really come out of their funding. Which I totally get their stance. Fact of the manner is that IF Ripple start showing more love let’s just say on X to active tokenized communities and builders that affect the culture layer here - onboarding would move a lot quicker. I’ve also heard that the communication factor for this cultural layer inside of Ripple is about bar none. Which I also understand because they’re busy with institutions. It’s frustrating though. There’s a whole lot of investors holding XRP and supporting Ripple where IMO it’s not reciprocated in the way it should - again using comparison. Part of the culture here too - people are too strict, always focusing on security, security, security. Bottlenecking or not allowing for fun and innovation to thrive. Part of that too is the OG scene of holders pushing narratives and NOT supporting new communities. They’ve been complacent and too comfortable. If we want to really thrive here, as retail investors, community etc we need a HIGH focus on our culture. There’s people that don’t even know you can USE your XRP to access these tokenized communities. Which needs to change. The expansion of ones network and overall spread mindshare that allows them to educate themselves leads them to a higher understanding and inherently with knowledge - comes value. We’re too comfortable here, people don’t want to take risk or reach out of their comfort zone. This is all sorts of wrong and hypocritical especially when I hear people gloat about “pushing the space” but doing things that make absolute no sense. This only accessing a portion of the market. All in all we need to take more initiative and it’s time. A big issue I have as well is the centralization. Let’s just take @xrpcafe for example (not singling you guy out). IPFS is under their control. IPFS is where we store NFT metadata. In short, users or projects don’t rely own or pay for their IPFS so if a platform goes down or stops paying for storage SOOO MANY PEOPLE are screwed. Not saying that will happen but it’s something to look at and move away from. (Shoutout to the cafe though for providing a marketplace here) The other side of this centralization is also no native smart contracts. Now you might ask “why do we need them” - well fam. When everyone’s building Web2 backends and applications - if those go down YOURE SCREWED AGAIN. Smart contracts can fix this by adding automated functionality. It also breeds more ground for innovation. I just feel like we’re backwards, hence why we’re bottlenecked in adoption. BIG issue a validators and others that control the space , that have vested interest in keeping things a certain way for the benefit of themselves. THIS IS WRONG and needs coherent change. We are the people, we are the ledger and we should start acting like it. Like today. If I can have anything out of this rant it would be to hav a conversation with @XRPLOperations or the foundation to begin to make changes. Albeit no crying in the casino.
