‼️🤯 BRICS Is Going FULL XRPL?
An Indian official just publicly said that Indian banks are actively testing XRP Ledger (XRPL) for seamless interbank and cross-border transactions.
India, chairing BRICS in 2026, is leading the BRICS Pay initiative, expected major rollout in 2027, creating next-gen payment rails for BRICS’ global trade, payments and settlement.
Vladimir Putin just disclosed in front of Xi Jinping that Russia and India now settle 96% of trade using local currencies.
Russian Foreign Minister also said a few days ago that BRICS are not against dollar but the SWIFT and dollar system were weapaonized against them and hence they are looking for a neutral blockchain that is not controlled by any party.
Interestingly, BRICS countries piloted XRP Ledger with Ripple years ago.
India and UAE also settled the very first oil-trade transaction with Ripple, using local currencies.
Now, Japan disclosed that they were using XRP for international payments since 2021.

Everyone wants commerce to flow but history shows payment rails can become tools in geopolitical tensions.
