he literally just read the concept of our project, thought "nice" and showed love

we've been earnestly building a consumer crypto app for years and honestly with how hard it is to get an ounce of organic attention in crypto shit gets demoralizing at times
i sit there some days and just think man we're trying to actually decentralize some shit on a real crypto ethos but nobody cares about that anymore. CT peeps used to read a whitepaper and share it on the timeline if it was smart. now it's all *what's in it for me*
btw this post probably isn't for you - i'm sharing this for builders. because when this happened, i felt, for the first time in a long time:
"the merit of our idea has earned us validation"
not the marketing budget, not the incentives, not the cabal, not the investors
and i know this is just one instance of a good thing
but one instance proves that it isn't ALL rigged
so yea, builders, keep building. don't let your assumptions about the culture make you cynical
maybe you can still have a good idea, build a good product, and earn some recognition for *just* that
