@WhiteHouse STOP building a nation that is a slave to the Government. Work for ALL people not the % of Americans who vote for you. That goes for Republicans and Democrats. The majority of US Citizens are Independent and our founding fathers were. They fought for a Government for THE PEOPLE

@nypost Omfg...use the ballroom and Triumphal Arch $$$. I really hoped the Republican Party would address our debt. We have already spent almost $1B on this plane. This is why billionaires have no business in office. They have no concept of money.

@MozzaTheRozza @jlojeda_2000 @anyelamarillo How much of that paycheck will go to taxes and paying for childcare? Some jobs you don't need to be in an office such as customer service calls, insurance agent etc. Why does someone working at home bother you so much? Your not writing the check...

@ajawsc40 @WallStreetApes Why do so many people have the the salary isn't deserved? Many people in upper management/administration and corporations get paid more than they are worth. Why go after the ones who put the sweat into the work?

@WallStreetApes $160k is lot of money for delivering packages. Why would a company want to keep paying that much money when they can get the same for less? Even $80k is good for delivering.

UPS worker says the company is offering buyouts to workers, the official reason is a pay them to quit so they can reduce their workforce But she says that’s not what’s happening. She says they are just rehiring different drivers to fill the positions at much lower wages “At least at my hub, which I know quite a few other hubs might be doing this too, now they're hiring people. And what they're doing is they're getting rid of the people at the higher rate and they're hiring them at the lower rate because we have a scaled progression and it takes 4 years to hit top scale” “So that's why they offered the buyout. Now they hired new people at half the rate” She says the company has also gotten very stingy “UPS used to hand out like turkeys and hams, and they used to give us a bunch of free stuff, and they would have raffles, and they really like gave you the sense of like they really cared about you as a person, and they cared about you because you were a part of the company. And now things aren't necessarily like that anymore, but I feel like that's like that in most places. Society has really moved away from us being a community and more into it's all about profit margins, which is just sad” I looked into it and these senior drivers make $120,000–$160,000+ when including benefits and overtime If you fire them and rehire new workers, the new workers only make $50,000 – $80,000+ in the first 1–2 years This saves the company a huge amount of money

@Sixpiece79487 @HaloFanForLife @WallStreetApes Pretty sure the salary is based off where they are delivering and what the cost of living is in the area. Also, you need to account for OT, weekend pay and holiday pay. It's not just unions! Look at the monopoly of EVERYTHING. They can keep raising prices, no competition.

@HaloFanForLife @WallStreetApes Yes I have. I drove an International 1500, 24' bobtail legally with a chauffeur's license, and I could parallel park it between two tour buses on Royal Street in the French Quarter. I routinely delivered and set up pianos, so please tell me more about heavy lifting...

@bozwy Is it really irrational to be concerned about Peter Thiel's Dialog meetings or the World Economic Forum? I have a very hard time believing these elite organizations truly care about all of humanity. They don't live among us, they guard themselves from others not in their class.

Bill Maher asks how Mississippi is kicking California’s ass in education, and Texas is “blowing them away” in green energy for “way less money.” “Did you know that a black fourth grader in Mississippi is two and a half times as likely to be proficient in math and reading as one in California? Mississippi is kicking our ass in education and for way less money. We’re 37th in fourth-grade reading, they’re ninth.” “Texas is kicking our ass in green energy. The average time to get solar panels connected there is three to four months. About 1,000 days faster than it took me. Remember when I was trying to get my solar hooked up? It would have been quicker to build a windmill.” “Texas has passed California in solar and blows away California when it comes to wind and energy storage. How does a state with no pro-climate policies produce better climate results than a state where here, even though we have so much better bumper stickers on our Priuses?” “I’ll tell you why. Because you’re allowed to build there because every third person in Texas isn’t someone whose job it is to make sure nothing gets done.” “Democrats, these are your issues: education, race, the environment.” “And I say this with love: you’re losing to the Waffle House, car-on-the-lawn states.”

@jlojeda_2000 @anyelamarillo Don't you understand that this allows people with children that can't afford daycare to stay in the workforce? Some people only have the option to work at home. It isn't all for laziness.

@anyelamarillo It literally allows parents with children to both work and single parents to stay in the workforce. The cost of daycare is insane and most households have to keep both parents working. I thought you wanted more children to be produced? 🤔

It’s been over 48 hours since Trump told the entire country that the Democrats, the CIA, China, and the media all colluded to steal the 2020 Election. And, not 1 person was arrested in the aftermath. Anyone else getting really pissed at the lack of prosecutions for so many major crimes? Let’s not forget - they used Covid & locked up thousands following J6 while having the J6 committee cover it all up to achieve their goals.

The stakes couldn't be higher. The question before Congress is whether we will preserve our constitutional republic OR chart a fundamentally different course that leads us down the ROAD TO COMMUNISM. This is the question, and for Republicans, the FIGHT IS ON to preserve the greatest nation in history from Mini Mamdanis.

🚨 JD Vance confirms even if the Save America Act is able to be passed, it will be to late to be implemented by midterms Democrats will still likely be able to flood states with infinite mail in ballots and no proof of citizenship or ID “Even if it were passed tomorrow, there's not enough time for it to be implemented before voting starts for the November midterm elections” “You're right, you know, the elections in some ways, the process is already getting started for 2026” The reason it won’t be able to be implemented is there isn’t enough time to update systems and go through everything allegedly Real-world rollout involves updating registration systems, training poll workers, processing new proofs for millions of voters, handling provisional ballots, revising forms, and dealing with legal challenges, so it’ll take much longer It’s almost like the Republican Party should have passed this the first month we elected them majority everything and not waited until months before midterms to try and pass it

We probably have ~3 years left where human labor still earns real money. After that, most of it gets automated to the point where it doesn't pay. This is the end of labor-based capitalism, the model where you trade hours for a wage and stack it over a 40-year career. The window open right now is an information asymmetry. A few people see it coming. Most are waiting for it to be obvious. That gap is the whole opportunity. What I'd do with the window: convert time into things that survive the transition. Bitcoin, hard assets, compute, energy, food production, and social credit/distribution A wage is rent on your time. Automate the time and the rent collapses. Owning scarce things is the esc The people who spend these three years hoarding capital will look like geniuses in ten. When wages stop compounding, guess whats left? ownership
