Before you believe or forward a viral Reel: • Check the original source. • Verify it through credible news outlets. • Be cautious of AI-generated videos and manipulated clips. • Don't let emotions replace facts. Virality is not evidence. Think critically. Verify first. Share later.

Opinion: Instagram is no longer just a platform for sharing photos and videos. Pages spreading sensational claims and emotionally charged narratives often seem to get more reach than creators sharing verified information. In my view, this also includes content that spreads anti-India narratives and other divisive messaging designed to create outrage and polarization. The algorithm often rewards engagement, not accuracy.
