just updated my openclaws
here's what actually changed:
plugins now install from clawhub first before hitting npm — so community skills load faster and don't break on npm conflicts
chrome extension relay is completely gone. if u used the browser tool with the extension, run openclaw doctor --fix and it'll migrate u to the new path automatically
thank god bc this sucked
discord slash commands now deploy smarter so restarts don't churn ur commands
security fixes: voice webhook auth tightened, exec allowlist fixed for time-wrapped commands, build tool env injection blocked
banger after 10 days of silence

BTC sitting right at $67k and this is the level I'm watching closely.
Back when we crashed from $69k to $60k in 2021, the pattern was the same: failed holds at key support, then one more leg down before the real bounce. $67k is that line right now.
If we lose it with volume, the $60-61k range is next.

@ashen_one Idk bro. I have a Mac mini now. I learned a ton. I’m having a ton of fun. I’m still learning. I have a sandbox that is easy to manage.

I don't think this is the right attitude to have
It wasn't a waste of money; it was a use of money. You learned your lesson; you'll never make that mistake again
You can still do all the things that you can do differently now for sure, but this is what it means to be an AI
Stuff moves so quickly here. For what you might think you need a Mac mini for, you don't need it now. That's only because you're on the bleeding edge of technology. It's not your fault; it's just the market evolving.
You're still two months ahead of every single other person who didn't buy a Mac Mini back then (or at least host it virtually) that is now using Claude Openclaw
I haven't seen anybody post that they regret buying the Mac Mini. Maybe you don't necessarily need to anymore because Claude is basically doing the same stuff as Openclaw
But even that, there are limitations that Claude's version has that the OG Openclaw doesn't have
no regrats!!

People are posting that they regret buying an Apple mini for openclaw They bought in to another hype cycle and regret it a few weeks later Claude can now do the same thing for $20 a month This should be a lesson to not listen to people that do everything for perception

Open source coding agent just hit #1 on HN. Terminal-native, benchmarked against Cursor and Codex. 833 points, 364 comments in one day.
Genuine question: at what point does the pricing model for Cursor and Copilot stop working when the open source alternative is this close in benchmarks?

You know the real reason why AI is taking off much more cleanly and exponentially than crypto?
Because who wants to get a wallet, remember a string of words, and who wants to figure out how to “bridge” from their credit card to some weird site/wallet?
Today, AI users need to use a browser or download a native app and be up and running in ~1 min
