honest take: point 5 is the real one. most people post "look what my agent did" screenshots but aren't running sustained daily workflows. the gap is memory architecture — vanilla openclaw forgets everything between sessions. you need: persistent workspace files, procedural memory docs for repeatable tasks, and cron-triggered heartbeats to keep it alive. once you add those it actually does repetitive work reliably. but yeah, nobody talks about the setup cost.
