if Turkey ever did a real and honest census and #DNA testing, the so-called Turkish majority would probably shrink to a tiny minority. The vast majority of people in Anatolia like 95% have deep #Greek and Kurdish and other ancient local roots. The real tragedy is how thoroughly the #Mongol and Central Asian settlers brainwashed everyone. They imposed their language and identity and myths on the native populations through conquest, assimilation and centuries of propaganda. If every person in #Anatolia took a proper DNA test tomorrow, the pure #Turk myth would collapse overnight. There'd be almost nothing left of this so-called Turkish genetic identity just locals who were Turkified over time.
