I've been thinking about Root Double ALOT recently and man it might have been the biggest VN emotional rollercoaster for me - Probably the VN I love with the largest gap between its highs and lows, but that also makes it my favorite to see others go through by far!

I want to read more VNs w/ unique systems like Root Double's SSS system. The concept of constantly adjusting your impressions of characters based on ur emotions, and getting different branches/results from it is rly neat - in RD the 9 represent the enneagram of personality. 1/2

If anyone is looking for an extremely immersive free sci-fi mystery VN w/ some adventure & RPG elements I would recommend Corru.Observer since the first part of the story finished. I want to say there's about ~20 ish hours of content but it gets updates every few months

@skjxdjid66944 I usually recommend avoiding guides but my advice for u on those is to just cave in and use one to get the true ends if u have to ☠️. Don't be as stubborn as I was and spend time just clicking every single part of the screen hoping find some dialogue u missed 🤣

@NewDivineBlade I think you might actually be more generous to Sonic games than I am to have that many youd call great overall

@XXXGWA Imo my favourite Sonic games (Which are the Rush Duology, 3 and Knuckles, Shadow Gens and Colours) are all great but I'd put World, 64 and both Galaxy games over them at the minimum. Sonic also has really weak multiplayer experiences overall while Mario is great with friends.

I keep seeing this argument brought up recently so I've been a little curious, what are my oomfs opinion on Mario Vs Sonic? I mean in terms of which franchise you prefer, not who would win in a fight. It's definitely Mario for me, more consistent and higher highs imo.

@NewDivineBlade As for the OP I would probably agree. I do prefer Sonic CD over any sole Mario game but past that it immediately starts to get shaky for Sonic. There are really only 3-4 ish Sonic games I care about and the lows/average are much worse.

@XXXGWA True, that's basically why I was on Sonics side until I got older lol. I'm still DBZ brained as well.
