The IRGC is a branch of Iran’s armed forces, separate from the regular army. Created after the 1979 revolution to protect the Islamic Republic and includes the Quds Force, which operates abroad and has been directly connected to terror attracts most notably the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing (linked via Hezbollah).
They also fund Iran’s terrorist proxies Hamas and Hezbollah.
It would seem eminently sensible to proscribe funders and suppliers of terrorism.

The idea you ‘proscribe’ the military of a foreign power is idiotic, and isn’t remotely what the 2000 Terrorism Act is about.
We get endless nonsense like this rather than just, you know, an effective police force.

@ArasiDoron @CNN PLO was created because Palestinians were driven out of their homes when Israel was created and they moved to Jordan first and eventually ended up in south Lebanon, naturally wanting their homeland back. If you talk historically Israel has always been the invader.
