Intro A year has passed since xrplwin.com was launched. In that time, lots of happened, many innovations saw the light of day. Explorer official launch corresponded with the launch of @XahauNetwork and Hooks. History I got interested in XRPL at the beginning of 2021 when first XRPL Token mania was well underway. It was a chaotic time - it was beautiful. At that time Sologenic was just starting, Coreum did not exist, NFTs on XRPL was just a distant dream. Only constant was two reliable explorers @bithomp and @xrpscan standing their ground and getting better each day to date. First XRPLWin site launched was token database/toplist (xrpl.win) where owners can add additional social information about their project. Idea was to distinguish scams from real projects to help people make better decisions investing. That site is up last four years, and even though it's not my focus today I like to think it is useful to some people. The beginnings Going more and more into rabbit hole that is XRPL and swallowing that red pill, plus being big PHP fan and senior PHP dev (15+ years), I was disappointed with lack of PHP libs for the #XRPL, so I embarked on mission to rewrite few libs to PHP - just to see If I can. While looking around one name repeatedly popped out: @WietseWind , with code snippets here and there, one more intriguing than other, first one I converted to PHP was XRPL-Orderbook-Reader it was slow going and thrilling self-assigned project which pushes you to the new concepts you did not think of before. You know what they say, first one is the hardest. Soon followed the rest of open-source PHP Packages (available on GitHub): - XRPL Tx-Mutation parser - PHP Rest API for XRPL - XRPL Mutation Parser - XRPL NFT-Mutation Parser - XRPL-LedgerTime I was unknowingly creating building blocks for XRPLWin Explorer and its Services. The Explorer When done with PHP packages, first idea for an online service was born, I wanted to offer more than just Packages I wanted a useful website for the community, seeing XRPL offers most awesome and easily accessible API, data was just there, calling to be parsed and displayed. New project was started - XWA (XRPLWin Analyzer) indexer for XRPL. Idea was to scan each ledger from the beginning, parse each transaction and store it in a database to query over it later. Today it became backbone API for both XRP Ledger and Xahau Hooks. At the same time web UI for it was started, which was not intended to be a fully fledged explorer at all, but account portfolio viewer utilizing API data. But with more in-depth knowledge, more ideas are becoming within reach. So while parsing each TransactionType in XWAnalyzer I did that UI for that transaction, it was a long process, with many fix iterations, and many handled edge cases and rewrites. Slowly … nothing became something. Then late 2023 XAHAU launch announced. It was an awesome opportunity to use this cross-compatible code for that chain also. Hooks was enigma, lots of moving parts. Namespaces? Parameters? Invoke? Novel transaction types and systems everywhere, it was an oasis. On chain programability - smart contract in your account, sitting and waiting. Awesomeness! Fortunatley XRPL-Labs provided great support decoding that data in early days specially @RichardXRPL and @angell_denis xahau.xrplwin.com launched a few months after Xahau launch on Jan 2024. XWAnalyzer did its work - scanned ledgers, cataloguing hooks, and first Hook Explorer was born. Additions over the first year Work was (and is) long from done, since launch to today many additions are added to the explorer, and even more bugs crushed. Most notable: - Hook list and viewer - XRPLWin is maintaining meta service for Hooks (identification) - Transactions: detailed view of what is happening when Hook is executed in transaction. - Account hook information: view installed hooks and edit/manage them - Account namespace viewer (with optional ABI integration) - XamanWallet xApps list - XRPLWin Monitor - Developer Tools - Nodes, Validators and Xahau Governance viewer...
