@Snip3down People have real life responsibilities and commitments. If you’re giving time to any organization for work one should have a clear cut expectation for compensation. Otherwise you could’ve potentially wasted your time because things didn’t go as planned? Makes sense

@Snip3down It’s up to the employer to assess risk management and therefore calculate that in salary negotiations as that directly determines your “worth” to them. Cause and effect, if the employee can’t deliver they can get fired/bought out or their contract won’t be renewed.

I’m still shocked esports contracts aren’t more reward and incentive based while also punishing bad results. If you’re paid exceptionally well to WIN and you don’t come close there should be clauses to doc pay, this prevents laziness and rewards exception, also doesn’t allow orgs to be taken advantage of as easily

Look, the real anomaly isn’t that these beings exist..it’s that anyone still thinks history is neatly wrapped up in a museum display. The serious research is out there. Mexican universities, Peruvian labs, independent geneticists...they’ve all looked, and guess what? These things are ancient, biological, and not human. We’re talking about a tiny, intelligent offshoot ...think late Cretaceous theropods with big brains and light skeletons. They weren’t numerous, they weren’t flashy, and they didn’t care about building empires. They survived not by fighting, but by hiding...underground, in caves, deserts, or wherever we weren’t looking. Fossil record? The fossil record is a joke when it comes to rare, isolated populations. If you’re not fossilizing in the perfect swamp at the perfect time, you’re invisible. That’s basic paleontology. And unlike animals that just rot in the open, these beings buried their dead. That’s why we even have mummies at all. Intentional placement, preservation, possible ritual behavior. That’s not random evolution...that’s culture. But sure, let’s pretend a bunch of farmers cobbled together hundreds of bones, inserted functioning joints and eggs, and passed every imaging test just to troll a few archaeologists. Makes total sense. Occam’s Razor isn’t about what’s familiar.. it’s about what actually explains the data. Even if there were more of them in other regions, what do you think happened? Earthquakes. Volcanic activity. Jungle overgrowth. Underwater burial. Entire human civilizations vanish without a trace...why not a tiny, reclusive species with no interest in spreading across the globe? We found this one group in one dry, stable desert with ideal preservation conditions. That’s not weird. That’s called finally getting lucky after 66 million years of missing the damn trail. Maybe we didn’t find them now because they suddenly appeared. Maybe we found them now because we finally evolved enough...technologically, psychologically...to actually see them. To consider that survival doesn’t always look like conquest. Maybe the last survivors of the Age of Dinosaurs weren’t monsters. Maybe they were watchers. Quiet ones. And now, for whatever reason, they’re letting us see them. Just don’t expect them to sit for peer review.
