🪙 | Gold was a part of Xavier’s uniform color scheme for 3 seasons: 1973-74, 1974-75, 1975-76. Following the 1976 season, the color was removed for a shift back to a more traditional blue palette. #LetsGoX

🏆 | @XavierMBB has won or shared 18 regular season conference titles (BIG EAST, Atlantic 10 & MCC). XU put together a run of five straight in the A-10 from 2007-11. Current asst. @DanteJacksonXU and his teammates all contributed to the fun at @CintasCenter in 2010. #LetsGoX

That first week was busy. In addition to hockey and XU, UC played a game vs. Butler on Feb. 23 and on Feb. 28 Cincinnati native Ezzard Charles beat Joey Maxim in the first boxing match at the arena. Its history included NBA basketball, the Beatles and 310 XU games. #LetsGoX

There were many great memories for @XavierMBB at Cincinnati Gardens, which opened its doors on this date in 1949. The first event was a hockey exhibition match. XU played its first game at the Gardens on Feb. 24, falling to No. 1-ranked Kentucky 51-40. #LetsGoX

While @XavierMBB prepares for a trip to NYC to face St. John's, it seems like a good time to look back at the first @BIGEASTMBB game in Xavier history, a 70-60 win vs. SJU at @CintasCenter in the 2013-14 season. XU used a 13-0 run to start the 2nd half to take control. #LetsGoX

Let's take a look back at another fan favorite from @CintasCenter, the 2011 comeback win over Purdue. The heroics of @SFFiveTu and @RealMarkLyons, who combined for 27 2nd half points, led No. 11 XU to a 66-63 win after trailing by 19 points with under 10 minutes left. #LetsGoX

Here is the box score from the game. The 47 points by @D_West30 still stands as the @CintasCenter record for any @XavierMBB player or opponent.

Xavier rolled over No. 24 Michigan 86-70 in Ann Arbor in the 2015-16 season in XU's first Gavitt Games tilt. @JalenReynolds, @TrevonBluiett and @23Abell each scored 15 points to lead the Musketeers. XU dominated the rebounding 47-29, including 18 offensive boards. #LetsGoX
