@EdgegodHades While you still here I have to ask. Do you know what happened to Afrid's GC? Did it get disbanded or was I just kicked out? It disappeared on my DMs months ago

@XavierofRed I'm looking for something to enjoy and Detectives is rarely ever enjoyable. That said, when it IS enjoyable, it's VERY enjoyable, which sorta evens out into kinda below average

I swear I live in a weird bizarro reality where Star Detectives is kinda bad and everyone else lives in the world where it's good. Either Idol was so terrible that Detective looks good or I just have impossible standards thanks to Fresh, Heartcatch, Suite and Tropical.

@EdgegodHades They are not bad. Wonderful is Great. Soft spot for DeliPa They just lean on one aspect heavily or neglecting one aspect. Detective Precure just appeals to wider ppl bec it's more a Generalist Season END

@EdgegodHades Yeah I love TroPre too It's my first Precure season

@XavierofRed I loved TroPre cause despite the lack of stakes, the cast is so likeable I don't mind it. Also cause it does let the weight of the lategame really hit, which is a lot like Smile(which I'm positive on, but it's the lowest of my "still like it" list). But I definitely know it's me.

@EdgegodHades That's why everyone else does that I suppose But for me that's limiting and pretentious. Like the goal is not to find the new top 1, the goal is just finding good stuff END

@XavierofRed I mean, it makes perfect sense to make the baseline of what you like be what you like rather than being not what you dislike. Cause there's nuance that allows for things you're neutral on.

@EdgegodHades Wonderful suffers from a very weak "lead cure" (the dog) and lack of action Idol is Idol Detective just clears all of the weakpoints above. Maybe not that high, but still clears them END

@EdgegodHades I love Cure Finale from DeliPa but she's considered the weakest "villain turned Cure". HiroGaru is well loved mostly bec it's a lot of newer fans 1st Precure and done a few "milestones but Veteran fans does complain about the Baby aspect

Detectives kinda makes me think "Let's make a PreCure show where the worst characters are the Cures"
