State-run #Yemen TV aired recent footage showing Yemeni Air Force aircraft (apparently F-5E fighters) taking off, alongside remarks by Maj. Gen. Abdulaziz Al-Muhaya, deputy commander of the Yemeni Armed Forces’ Air Force. Al-Muhaya said several fighter aircraft have been rehabilitated and were used in the strike on Houth-held Sana’a Airport under directives from the country’s political leadership. He added that the Air Force is prepared to confront any hostile aircraft that violates Yemeni airspace and called on the political leadership of the Internationally government of Yemen to bolster the force with additional fighter aircraft and air-defense systems.
