@MemoriaconnectX It doesn’t help that the KH community is basically cannibalising itself also, in a game about friendship.

I can admit now I'm very tired and demotivated in regards of my favorite franchise... It's no longer a reason to be patient with Kingdom Hearts 4, but with the context of the entire franchise itself and the disrespectful treatment of an whole fanbase. Square Enix won't be able to forever hiding behind the excuse of restructuring. Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest have games... This difference in treatment is truly unfair.

@BltzZ7 Agreed, it’s very disappointing how extreme the gatcha is on this and the same for the DQ beta, the games look and play really nice, but the gatcha implementation will ultimately kill the game early (in my opinion)

So I played about 5 hours of the Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Beta ad there are some glaring issues. You have to gacha roll for moves. Its probably the most egregious P2W system I've ever seen. I went with a character nobody knows, Cloud Strife. And my first matches I got bodied until... I unlocked cross slash, a move that has invincibility frames during the entire animation AND stuns an enemy for 5 seconds. Typically this will deal 2/3 damage to enemies so you can just melee KO after. But the whole game became cakewalk after unlocking this because not many others have a invincible or stun move unlocked yet. You can see someone is invincible if they are highlighted yellow. So Most of the game is saving your invincible move until you see an enemy trying to use theirs. Then when you use yours it goes second it will beat them out. Because their animation ends first 💀. There are defensive moves like the godlike Selphies Wall. This thing gives you 80% defense for 8 seconds. So I naturally hold onto this until I see someone charging a big attack at me then I use it and am immortal to eat their moves lol. Even if they removed the gacha idk how they can balance the system with all the invincible frame moves which are incredibly strong. Obviously it's a beta and there are no ways to spend IRL money. So I've been using the in game currency you get from leveling up and going through the battle pass and have had decent rolls. But I know there are going to be some people with bad luck that don't get any good moves and are stuck getting instant KO'd because they can't compete. And the inevitable whales, yeah you get the idea. I've changed the default movement to the new one with directional buttons and a dedicated attack button and even with that it feels clunky and claustrophobic cuz of the vertical gameplay. It's a fun game but there's too many issues that I don't think can be fixed unless overhauled and reimagined in regards to how the system and some moves work.
