@Mark_J_Harper So Mark Harper thinks that 20mph pointless ban will win the election.
It's making the hole bigger.

Labour politicians & London-based commentators talk about cars like they’re a bad thing - just look at how they’re reacting to our Plan for Drivers.
But they just don’t understand that, outside central London, the rest of the UK relies on the car👇

@LozzaFox @GBNEWS @MarkSteynOnline Sacking you rids GBNews of a leech. You are a nobody heading into oblivion. Next GE will be your swan song. And not before time
English

The way @GBNEWS discarded @MarkSteynOnline was inhumane.
It was also the writing in the wall as to what was to come.
Bland. Banal. Low budget MSM copycat media speak.
This piece is worth a read, because it reminds us that in sacking Mark, they got rid of a talent with more experience, humour, integrity and wit, than the whole toxic “family” GB like to laughably call themselves, combined.
Most of my generation don’t watch much terrestrial television, instead favouring the plethora of higher quality online media. None of my kids generation have even heard of the @bbc, let alone @GBNEWS.
It’ll be interesting to see where we go from here.

@GBNEWS @calvinrobinson Investigation into how your viewership will now tank?
Strong work @GBNEWS, suspending a popular and beloved man of faith.💪🏼
Let us know how that all works out.

The moment the far right sulked away after a particularly embarrassing day at the Honor Oak. Outnumbered, unheard and featuring a 5 minute cameo from #LaurenceFox
We call that 8-0 🎉

@davidannett11 @SJAMcBride @BelTel I think it's likely to lead to a split. The Stormont v WM politicans. So do you keep your powder dry until you can act? Doing nothing means no money.
English

@SJAMcBride @BelTel Serious question-who are all these DUP MLAs who are wanting to go back into Stormont that we keep hearing about-if they exist and are all so happy to divulge to journalists what their position is why can’t they reveal to their electorate who they are then, or did I miss something
English

We might all have been seriously misreading who Jeffrey Donaldson is and where he wants to take Northern Ireland. Those who seek power often engage in concealment in order to get to the top, but then their true beliefs are revealed...

@JamesHeartfield @DPJHodges Maybe you can't follow a thread but only you were so crass as to go off tangent.
Muted.
English

Long-term strategic policy making is reducing energy dependency. Modernising and maintaining our military. Crafting a 20 year foreign policy. It's not scrapping 20 MPH speed limits to get you through an election campaign. That's the definition of knee-jerk policy making...
Rishi Sunak@RishiSunak
I’m slamming the brakes on the war on motorists - it's as simple as that.
English

@Jamesy_boy @DPJHodges What popular polices?
Pubs and restaurants are empty on a Friday night.
Driving at 70mph doesn't pay the bills.
English

@CrisCardotyn @ProfTimBale It doesn't at all. Labour winning because the Tories constant dredging of ideas is constantly backfiring.
Meat Tax?
Motorists vote for unrestricted speed!
It's desperate stuff.
English

@ProfTimBale Surely this shows that Labour need a good media plan to force the NHS as the focal point and hammer the tories on their handling of it.
English

@Colin00007 @ProfTimBale Professor buckethead speaks.
It's going to be a landslide, a complete wipe out.
theguardian.com/politics/2023/…
English

@ProfTimBale clearly does - Labour start on 185 seats after boundary changes that make most Labour and Tory seats dead safe (ward swap to keep Farage out) - there are 65 possible Lab v Tory seats - Lab likely to lose last seat in Edinburgh to Libs - Lab could win 250 seats - not enough
English

@ProfTimBale @StevePeers I sincerely believe the country is crying out clarity from the Conservative Party.
I'd like to see a leadership contest in November between Sunak, Badenoch, Braverman and Truss.
Then we'd know where the Tories want to take the country. Would certainly move their poll ratings
