This has been the response of a lot of European and Canadian accounts. Trump's saber rattling has driven our allies into the arms of the CCP. That's epicly imprudent on their part, but that seems to be happening, nonetheless.

The president cannot unilaterally withdraw from NATO. He's a term-limited lame duck. It's not happening. But if Europe wants NATO to remain an important & active alliance, they should stop acting like they're not our allies. Allowing overflight is the absolute least they can do.

Is that trade worth it? That's a fair debate to have. But the media isn't having that debate. They're just showing you the gas price number and letting you feel outraged. They won't tell you what the alternative costs. Because that number is a hell of a lot scarier than $4. If you want cheap gas AND a nuclear Iran, just say that. Own it. But don't act like the tradeoff isn't real.
