This year has seen a wave of shutdowns across the Web3 gaming landscape. Studios at every stage; both well-funded and lean have been forced to scale back or close, and it’s clear the sector is no longer riding the “golden touch” narrative it once had. Even so, we remain confident that Web3 gaming is inevitable. Turning in-game items into true digital assets can unlock new forms of capital and liquidity, creating real utility that extends beyond entertainment into broader consumer and digital economy use cases. We’re still here, an independent, bootstrapped studio building a high-quality 3D MMORTS, with our Closed Beta Test currently live.

Last year, Mythya was just a 2D RTS game being built by a small, self-funded indie studio with one clear goal: to create the best web3 MMORTS. Today, @playmythya has evolved into a full 3D mobile RTS with multiple factions, powerful commanders, immersive environments, artifacts, skill systems, combat, gathering, and much more. This transformation was driven by pure passion and grit. With the Mythya CBT now live, the progress has been incredible. We truly believe Mythya is on track to change the MMORTS space in both web3 and web2 gaming as the only MMORTS with an open economy. This is just the beginning.

Wrapping up November with Mythya CBT is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. This journey has come with its fair share of challenges, long nights, and tough decisions but all of it is worth it when we see players finally stepping into the world we’ve been building and sharing thoughtful and meaningful feedback. Yes, Mythya still has bugs, that’s the reality of any early build. December will be fully dedicated to polishing the experience: fixing bugs, improving animations, and refining key features to ensure the game feels smoother and more immersive. Beyond that, development for the Mythya World Map and PvP systems is already underway. 2026 is going to be a defining and eventful year for our community and the entire Mythya universe.
