Please can all experts in nutrition stop talking about the harmful effects of consuming free sugar without mentioning its harm to the #OralMicrobiome. We consume sugar with our mouth, not our gut! The harm sugar does to our body comes from the harm it first does to our mouth.

My take on this Parkinson's disease paper ... What is going on in both the gut and the brain is downstream of what is going on in the mouth. Clasen et al 2025 doi.org/10.1080/194909… Microbiome signatures of virulence in the oral-gut-brain axis influence Parkinson’s disease ...

12,000 CDC Employees. A Cyclospora Outbreak Hitting Taco Bell Customers Disproportionately in Lower-Income Communities. And the CDC Was Nowhere. When a foodborne illness hits fast food — the dining option most relied on by lower-income Americans — the burden falls hardest on the people with the least access to healthcare and the least ability to miss work for a month of illness. The CDC, with its 12,000-person workforce and massive budget, failed to respond with speed or clarity. Politicians are using budget cuts as cover. The real issue is institutional failure — and private companies filling the gap the government was supposed to cover. The connections between methylglyoxal, the glyoxalase system, and effects on bones and muscles illustrate how glycation acts as a unifying factor across metabolic and structural health. @XlearInc @TheBDA @ShawnCharlwood Probably there is a bacteriophage that treats Strep Mutans. I use AgriPhage for bacterial infections of fruit trees and it’s very effective.

As America lurches from one crisis to the next, a new book examines how all these crises are connected, the mass psychology that causes fear to spread like a contagion, and how the same oligarchy profits from the division. "Mind Viruses" by John Leake

If I were to tell you there is a gum disease bacterium species which is now directly linked to development of all these disease mechanisms, would you believe me? Why not look it up for yourself. Its name: Porphyromonas gingivalis (Most doctors have never heard of it)

A new review frames periodontitis as a measurable window into silent systemic inflammation. It centers the AGE-RAGE axis and the TXNIP-NLRP3 axis, a metabolic-redox sensor connecting dysglycemia to inflammasome activation, alongside mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Inflammation you cannot feel, made visible. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42351985/

Gum disease as a systemic inflammatory burden. A new review proposes an oral-metabolic-genitourinary axis, with the strongest evidence linking periodontitis to diabetic kidney disease through AGE-RAGE signaling, oxidative stress, and microvascular injury. Periodontal therapy has been tied to improved glycemic control. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42359004/ @XlearInc
