i just finished episode 4 of the one piece live action so i’m halfway through and tbh i’ve been enjoying it a lot so far but here are my thoughts inaki isnt the greatest actor but he’s also playing luffy who is almost impossible to portray correctly sometimes they look TOO clean, like the sets and clothing the wigs kinda pop too much and i feel that the colors should kinda mesh with their natural hair a bit more zoro is a bit TOO edgy sometimes but tbh his moves look a lot cleaner this season, i liked the bar fight but he does need to joke and laugh and smile a bit more because zoro was pretty funny early op nami and usopp are great, nami was always strong but i feel like the rest of the cast has kinda caught up and grown in terms of acting, just not inaki as much 😭💔 garp just feels so stiff idk how to explain it smokers smoke is so bleh and dragons acting was also just not believable, that whole scene was kinda off-putting, that and the “im dead” scene, but i like smokers actor tbh but tbh everything feels a lot better, like there’s still some cringe stuff here and there but it’s definitely a lot more watchable and feels overall better than the first season, as a one piece fan i’m having fun and i’ll prob start the 5th episode later :)
