A bit of a divergence from our usual posts, but I would like to discuss the new, unjust use of AI moderation coming from social media platforms. Please repost this to get the message out! @Meta apps like Instagram and Facebook have started using AI algorithms to detect whether or not accounts are in violation of their terms, often triggered by someone reporting said account. This is already bad, but not the worst part: When an account appeals to get unbanned, the SAME EXACT AI algorithm reviews its previous decision. As anyone might guess, it instantly comes back with the same decision, as the system is circular. Essentially, once you're banned, you're done. It doesn't matter whether or not it was a legitimate ban. This means that an account can be reported, have its appeal rejected, and erased without a single human looking at it. And that's exactly what happened to us. We were banned for, according to Meta's AI, "impersonating ourselves," and we can't do anything about it. Our Instagram of 35 million views will likely be eradicated in just over a week, and we'll lose all the work we put in. We are not allowed to make any more appeals. Whilst I don't know what the fate of our account will be, I write this for the sake of not only us, but any other accounts that might experience verifiably unjust and random AI censorship. Let us try to get the attention of Meta and other companies more broadly, and show our disapproval of this clearly unreasonable, dysfunctional system. Thank you for your attention and support on this matter.

Recently realized I no longer own Minecraft because I didn't merge my Mojang account to my Microsoft account. Bought it 15 years ago, and they un-purchased it from me. I don't understand how this kinda thing is even legal.

Hahahahahaha fiber internet is the best. Episode uploads have gone from 8 hours to like 10 minutes if that. Should help my power bill!

I won’t be porting to this version, this new update model is terrible for mod devs. It’s all your fault vanilla plebs, you only enjoy complaining about the game.

@TheAndrata Back a couple of months in Nebraska we had a bad storm that took down power and branches all over obviously not as bad since it wasn't a top tier hurricane but it was still surprising to see. I still wish the best for you and hope you stay safe

@Xnerbop596 So far it’s been okay. Lots of rain all day but nothing major. Few branches down in the yard. The wind is really starting to pick up now though.

@TheAndrata Man that's sad to hear cause I love the game having 3.3k hours in it. Though not every game is for everyone obviously. Though if I was to suggest a mod for stardew it's the expanded greenhouse mod (I've never played modded and have no idea if it's up to date sorry)

@Xnerbop596 I’ve tried so many times to get into Terraria but I just can’t get it to click for some reason. I usually love pixel side-scrolling games but I just can’t jive with it.

I think it’s time to download and play Stardew Valley again while waiting for #HurricaneMilton to pass through Central Florida. Any mod recommendations?
