@Razer_Chan @DontPutFishInIt They call King of the Hill anime in Japan, same with Scooby-Doo, and even South Park.
English

@DontPutFishInIt Why is it that people can't fathom that an animated show/movie can be animated, and even look like anime (ATLA), without being anime. Anime is made in Japan.
English

@Mrtnbutnot @JJGrizzlebees @Childuglystar @DontPutFishInIt Welllll, it's a good thing you are the utmost authority on this, wouldn't want any problems.
English

@JJGrizzlebees @Childuglystar @DontPutFishInIt Yeah but thats how they call it in Japanese/ in Japan.
In English-speaking countries, up until recent years, the word anime was exclusively for Japanese animations (And no, I don't consider Avatar/anime styled shows as exceptions to that definition)
English

@wonderinganime I haven't finished it, but I thought it was okay/good at best.
English

@ShitpostRock I thought the beginning of the show was funny. Didn't watch much out.
English

I lowkey feel like 90% of people LARPed this anime

kiba ✮⋆˙ 🐺🪫@kibawooo

@ImNotChris06 @_brandoncx B2 is like the A10. If you hear/see it, it is on your side.
English

@_brandoncx Lmao I was jogging outside in Arlington and saw that shit. I thought it was over 😂

@CForos57876 @Zacharyjoyboy89 The "joke" is that it is based on real things and real children, and parts are based are based on the authors real life.

English

@Zacharyjoyboy89 The joke is that the kids are on drugs thats all but Netflix found it funny enough to replace steal ball run with it
English

@argenteye123 @BatShatInsane @Zacharyjoyboy89 @TopGyaru The children being abused and used deserve sympathy.
English

@BatShatInsane @Zacharyjoyboy89 @TopGyaru If it's sympathetic of people who "do crime because of poverty" I'd say that's a political siding.
The hangure deserve no sympathy, much like street gangs in America don't deserve any sympathy. They should all burn.
English

@BatShatInsane @Zacharyjoyboy89 @TopGyaru While funny, you have to acknowledge a lot of the characters are still scum who abuse and manipulate children into committing violent crime.
English

@Zacharyjoyboy89 @TopGyaru There’s not really political siding in it. It’s based off the author’s personal experience in drug abuse and poverty. It’s an interesting read, the characters are funny, and makes you feel empathetic about what they go through. Since most of the cast are in their teens.
English

@TopGyaru People that can have fun and separate fiction from real life
English

@ShadowBelmont64 @TopGyaru The show/manga is about what it's like growing up in the poor and shady areas of Japan. Parts of the story are based on the authors real life.

English

@TopGyaru I want to say it’s criticizing American ghetto culture, Japan HATES drugs.
