Not to be an asshole or anything but this is the most entry level diagnostics video I ever seen. You’re an engineer girl, lock in. Look at the big picture. You fixed the easy issue, go change your thermostat, check fuses, and find out why you didn’t get any hi temp readings on your dash.

In case anyone was wondering what the problem was and what my diagnosis was 🤓 My car was intermittently (mostly at startup) making noise that sounded like liquid sloshing/rushing. I checked my coolant reservoir and it was empty (which is terrifying). No sensors went off, my car wasn’t overheating. So I did some research online and it pointed me to first try replacing the radiator cap (not the reservoir cap). The radiator cap is for a pressurized system unlike the reservoir cap (at least for my car). Luckily for once it was super easy to find the radiator cap and access it, and it only cost $17 for a new one. All that’s left is bleeding the system and fingers crossed we’re good 🤞
